My husband has a ton of homework for his classes so we just celebrated our Valentines at home. It was snowing that day anyway so going out was not an option. It gave me time to do laundry as well, so everything went mighty fine. I cooked dinner at home and had plenty of time spent with the kiddos.

The day after Valentine's day, we went to church and attended the mass. The parish priest was so nice to blessed all the married couples who were there.

There's never a dull moment in spending time with these busy bees. I'd rather spend our Valentine's day at home rather than going out without them.

Time flies! Our children are growing up fast. It scaring me a little bit because in few more years, I will have teens at home. I hope that it won't be as hard as I think.

I love blank greeting cards because you can write what you feel. I like the pre-written ones too but it's extra special when your love one take an extra time to write their thoughts and how they feel. Hubby wrote:

Twelve years ago, we planted a tree. Year by year, we have watched it grow. Bearing the fruits and joy of our life together. ReplyDeleteAww, so sweet. We had a wonderful Valentine's Day as well. As usual, the three of us went out for a dinner. It has always been a date with my "boys" and not just with the hubs. I love it like that. :)
