Keeping Fit in 2015

One of our goals this year is to keep doing what we have started last year and that's to keep our fitness routine.  We need to stay active as much as we could  to stay fit.

Last year was a great one for both hubby and I, health-wise.  I was more active with my fitness routine  so I did not have much time  sitting in front of the computer so my migraine was less.  With my husband  keeping up with his fitness goal last year, he was able to lost 34 pounds and won the Biggest Loser  contest from his work.  However, when the cold season rolled in, I was a bit thrown out with my game so I gained   a couple of pounds.

I bounced back and  stay active indoors by doing some of my fitness routine inside our home and now I am back on track despite the  Holiday s.
I am thrilled to have this  new   Precision Digital Bath Scale from Ozeri.  This is on sale for $25 now via Amazon so if you are looking for a new  scale, I highly recommend this one.   You can see its specs below.
  • New widescreen LCD provides immediate and easy to read results throughout the day
  • Uses 4 high precision GX sensors to weigh up to 400 pounds (180 kilograms) in 0.2 pounds or 0.1 kg increments
  • Step-on Activation captures the precise weight measurements upon stepping on the scale (no tapping required)
  • Sturdy design features an oversized weighing platform with impact-resistant tempered glass
  • Convenient unit button switches between pounds, kg
I also received this Book, The Spark  as part of the  blogger kit that was sent to me by Gorton's  that I reviewed at my Food blog.  I only workout by myself and it tough sometimes because you lack that encouragement from others.  I have to remind myself so many times  on days where my body doesn't want to cooperate with my mind.  Having some  tools like  book guide on how to do it really helps.
I have been reading this book since it arrived.  It's one for of bonding that I shared with my kids as I let them read   at home while they are on school break.  We read one hour a day which breaks the monotony of our   routines at home.

Aside from the book, I also love this Total Body Sculpting that came with the  kit.
I have  used this  for a work out and man, it tested my agility lol.  It made me sweat !  I love that  it includes warm up routines before the actual work out because it really  get your body ready for a total sculpting work out.
I am looking forward to Monday because beginning January 5, you can sign up for and participate in the 30-Day Realistic Resolution Challenge on SparkPeople.com or using the SparkPeople app  that is available on iTunes Store or Google Play). For more  information about Spark People, check out my review  at  my food blog or you can go directly at sparkpeople.com.

  3. I actually have been a member of Spark People for a long time! It is a great place and does help with motivation. I guess I could attempt to walk down the 7 flights of stairs to my mailbox every day (then take the elevator back up!)-at least it would be some exercise.
