I used this shampoo and conditioner with okra seeds last month. These are just some of the products that Yves Rocher have sent me. They sent me several kinds of hair and skin products. This is specially formulated for frizzy hair which my hair falls sometimes. What can you expect for these products? Here it is:
Smoothing Shampoo for frizzy hair allows before any finding smooth and silky hair. The Okra seeds extract selected by Yves Rocher Laboratories is known for its cosmetics properties and, in particular, its ability to smooth the hair fiber. Smoothing Shampoo and 48H Smoothing Conditioner: smoothes your rebel hair.
From my actual experience of using this set, here are some that I like and did not like.
LIKE:
- The price of $5 a bottle is not that bad.
- It feels really good on your scalp
- It really gives your hair that smoothness that you are looking for.
DISLIKE:
- If you have cook or eaten an okra, the smell is not that great. So this shampoo does not have that fragrant that I I was looking for after a shower. Not the type of smell that I like anyway.
- The lid of the shampoo is very hard to open. You might break your nail when you try to lift it up. They should redesign the lid into that kind where you push on the other side and opens on the other side.
Overall, I will give this shampoo and conditioner with okra seeds a 3 out of 5 stars.
Cool product from Yves Rocher. First time to hear shampoo with Okra.. By the way, i love Okra.
ReplyDeletegreat review, but never liked okra or the smell, but if you says it does great with the smoothness, maybe i would try it out

ReplyDeletenow your talking. Yves Rocher is my very favorite brand from when I was living in Toronto. Conditioner and shampoo next to make up are my favorite items to spend money on.
ReplyDeleteThese sound wonderful. I actually get keratin treatments in my hair at the salon and need a special shampoo/conditioner, so I don't think I can use these. I will have to ask my hair stylist.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great! I will spend more if a product will work.
ReplyDeleteI hate when a bottle doesn't open and you practically rip your finger off trying to get the small amount of liquid out of it! I've seen this product before.. Maybe I should try it out... but I'd like to keep my finger nail!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try this, though it is not as fragrant as it could be.
ReplyDeletethanks for the honest review and yea i don't much like okra but wouldn't mind it as a shampoo
ReplyDeleteI do not need overly fragrant but also do not want to smell like okra all day! I need something to help with the shine for my hare so I might look into this.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting idea that they would use okra seeds! I am always up for trying something new so I will have to check this out!
ReplyDeleteI haven't ever seen a shampoo with okra in it. I'll have to look into it, it's caught my interest.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of Okra and would probably have to skip this as my main shampoo. I do like the idea of a scalp massage while I shampoo so perhaps this would be worth a try.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I could enjoy it if it's smelly. but if helps make my hair healthy I guess I could live with that
ReplyDeleteOkra seems a bit strange to use in a shampoo. I wonder what the most important benefits one derives from using it are.
ReplyDeleteI definitely have to look for this so I can try it. I'm always on the lookout for new haircare options to keep my hair shiny and healthy.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this product however I like the idea of shiny and healthy hair. Its a must try for sure.
ReplyDeleteMan everything is used for products these days! Okra seeds! Who knew,
ReplyDeleteThat is the first time I have heard of okra shampoo! Sounds very interesting, but I wouldn't wanna smell like it either...
ReplyDeleteHubs eats alot of Okra and i hate the smell of it but its an interesting idea maybe i would try it just for trying sake lol.
ReplyDeleteI really need to try it. I never heard of it before! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteIf they can just figure out a way to tone down the okra scent a bit, it sounds like it could be a winner. I love that it enhances shine.
ReplyDeleteYves Rocher makes great quality stuff but ocra.. god, I don't know.. Ocra isn't the most pleasant of smells, like you say. I think I'll continue picking out the other Yves Rocher items. :)
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing things about okra seeds. What's up with that?! I'm going to be doing more research on this. Thank you for sharing!
