What a way to end a stressful day but to play dress up. It was a perfect timing that after my interview at USCIS, I received a package containing the poodle skits and shirts from Hip Hop 50's Shop . A great way to celebrate the success I went through with the immigration interview. So even though I was exhausted mentally and physically that day, my smiles were from ear to ear (I'll let the photos do the talking now).
My mother was born in the 50's but I never heard her talk about poodle skirt. I remember her talking about petticoats though. I am planning to print the photo below and send it to my mother in the Philippines, maybe it will bring back fun memories for her lol.
My daughter also received a poodle skirt 3-piece set outfit from Hip Hop 50's Shop. They are very generous to provide both of us a set to review. If you are looking for high quality costume from 50's, check out their selection. Poodle skirt is just one of their designs, they also have Crinoline Petticoats, Vintage dresses or Retro dresses. Hip Hop 50's Shop has costume for both adult and children. My daughter has been asking me for years now to dress up during Halloween but I keep saying no because I don't really want to wear those costumes that I see online. I think, with Hip Hop 50's Shop, I will be encouraged to dress up, especially that I have one already. So peeps, this won't be the last time you will see our 50's costume, tune in lol. Thanks again Hip Hop 50's Shop, you guys truly made my stressful day turned into a fun and fashionable one !
