I heard someone from our front porch yesterday and when I checked, it was the mailman. He laid down a package for me. I was eager to open it up and was delighted to see my new Swedish Clogs from Sandgrens. I immediately tried it on. At first, I thought that it would hurt my feet because I have a wide feet and the end of this clogs are a bit small but I was surprised that it didn't. I actually used it while walking around the house the whole day yesterday just to test if I would get blister but was very delighted that my feet are fine. They are actually very comfortable to wear!
I originally wanted to review this Milan in red but they did not have it in my size. I also chose the Tilda in white but my feet are too small that my size isn't available. I am glad that they sent me this Victoria Square Toe in Denim color with dark brown base because I love it. I think that this is more versatile to wear with just about any type of get up including jeans, dress, shorts, or whatever that you feel like wearing.
I love how they finished and carved the wood shows real craftsmanship. I also adore the little detail that they put on the strap, it is so cute. The good thing about clogs is, you can wear it with just about anything. I would probably wear this with jeans most of the time since I am a Jean-kind-of-gal. These clogs reminds me of the kind of shoes we called Bakya in the Philippines.
The sole design makes a good traction when you walk, thus, you won't feel like you would trip or slide when you walk on a snow. I even do different tricks with my feet, like standing on my toes in order to see if it would have a hard effect on my feet but it didn't. Sandgrens used Horween nubuc leather which makes it comfortable and it's fastened to the wood with a brass nail heads to make it look classic. The adjustable straps allow you to wear it according to the size of your feet. This Victoria Denim cost $159.00, you can buy it by visiting the website through the link provided in this review.
The most exciting part for me in doing review is the dressing up part. I may not be the most fashionable chic on the block but hey, I tried to using the limited resource that I have in my closet. So here you go. I have a few pieces that I could wear these clogs with. I love the fact that you can wear this in many occasions such as going out to your favorite restaurant, or going to the office, or any weekend celebration.
Sandgrens' clogs by the way are made in Sweden, thus the term Swedish Clogs. They have been creating and providing fashinable footwear since 1846 which says a lot of how much quality and pride they put into their products. They have shoes for men and women and oh I love their boots too! Like them in Facebook or follow them through Twitter and Pinterest. Thank you so much Sandgrens for the high clogs you sent me!
