Hello everyone, how's the weather at your end? We are suppose to get a snow storm today so the school has announced it's closing for the day. I was surprised that my son wishes he could go to school hahaha. They are playing chess right now and we will do our reading time after they play.
Anyhow, last week was the busiest week for me in my children's school. They celebrated the Catholic School's Week with lots of activities everyday. My husband missed it as he has to work so I just showed him the photos I took. First up was the Open House, Ms. Burrito was very excited as she got to present her Journal work. My son on the other hand was crying the whole time I was there, he accidentally poked his eye with a pencil. Gladly, I was there to comfort him.
How was your weekend?
Looks like they are enjoying school a lot.
ReplyDeleteMy Blue Monday.
Look at all those smiling faces.
ReplyDeletehere are my blues
Always fond memories of Catholic school. I attended them from k to 11 until they closed and I was shuffled into the public school system! Yikes! All my kids except the oldest attended Catholic school at some point and my oldest son and middle daughter went thru the high school too! Jeremy graduates last year form college and Rebekah will graduate May 2013! Yea! Missy Franklin the Olympic swimmer attends Regis Jesuit HS where she is a senior! She will be in for culture shock when she attends Berkley in California next year! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour children are very blessed and look so content and happy!
Hugs Anne
Great pics.

I live in a catholic country where all private schools are catholic ! Most of the people don't even know what a protestant is !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Looks like evreyone had a great time during the celebration.
ReplyDeleteAww that hurts. Good thing you're there for him. I hope he still enjoyed the week even though his eyes really hurt. How is it now? I hope he's better now.
ReplyDeletePoor Mr. Burrito! hope, the eye is better now. The kids enjoyed the open house.
ReplyDeletelooks like they had so much fun at school! School is always been the best place for kids to experience events like this!
ReplyDeletewe have wet weather this week, i believe it will rain tomorrow and hopefully it wont be so bad because i have to walk to school & home with my kids. Anyway, she love this kind of extra curricular event :)
ReplyDeleteThese are some lovely photos mommy Rose. I remembered when I got to go with Tim on school's open house and kids and teachers were sure busy. And oh, I hope your young man is fine now.
ReplyDeletelooks like kids had so much fun in this event
ReplyDeleteSo fun! Too bad there is no Open House at a public school here. And I am envious that school was off over there with a snow storm coming. Dito, kahit it's snowing all day, tuloy pa rin ang pasok. Hmp!
ReplyDeletewow looks like your daughter is a born leader
ReplyDeleteIt's getting hotter in here. I think Summer is really not far behind.
ReplyDeletelooks like a very busy day for your little ones. your very lucky to have them sis.
