We went to the Center of Music & Arts last weekend to canvass the prices for piano as we want to buy our children one. There was only one working there so he couldn't assist us but he showed us where the display of the pianos are. Since nobody was there but us, I busied myself taking photos lol.
There are so many piano's to choose from. There are new ones and there are also used ones.
Mr. Burrito immediately sat in one of the chairs at the art room.
Ms. Burrito was drawn to the rack of drawing books. I am not sure if the rack of the guitars has violin but they are pretty colorful.
Anyhow, we did not buy one yet as the worker wasn't much of a help. We are planning to go back there maybe this weekend. We were told that the price for tuning a piano ranges from $75 to $100 and it has to be done twice a year.
So happy the daughter opted against the violin!

ReplyDeleteThe center for music and arts is a haven for everyone particularly the kids who have an inclination with arts and music.
ReplyDeleteHaving a piano at home is also one of the things we need to accomplish for our little one in the future.
The piano is one of the more versatile instruments there is. I've always wanted to learn this and hope it is not too late.
ReplyDeletewow. i would love to have a piano here in our house but those things are very expensive. we have to make sure that the kids are interested to play it or it might just be one of those things that collects dust. =D

ReplyDeleteThe Burritos are gearing up for another promising path. Learning to play one musical instrument is one of my forgotten dreams. Good thing, hubby knows how to play some wind instrument and drums. At least, he can inspire my future kids to play an instrument. Leave the singing and dancing to me, just kidding.

Goodluck for the future Pianist! I am sure your kid will go far with the talent he had and is so lucky to have a very supportive parents :)

If there is one thing that I regret not doing, it is saying no to piano lessons. I didn't know that learning the piano is a wonderful activity. I'm sure your loving children will enjoy a new piano soon.
