Here's another event we attended before that I neglected to post and I am not just getting around posting it. My family and the Howells family started watching the firework display together. We started the tradition since last year and we plan to keep doing it every year. The night before we went for our summer vacation in Ocean City, we watched the Firework display in Weirton, together with our neighbor family/friends . We headed there a little bit early to find a good spot to park since it is always packed with cars and people at the venue.
The moon have provided a much better lighting after the firework was over. It was another great bonding with the Howells family. We look forward to do this again next year.
While waiting for the Howells, I got the chance to take pictures of my silly daughter.
While we were waiting for the firework display to start, we took some photos of us.
Here are some of the snaps for the firework.
Fireworks show is very enjoyable to watch especially if you're with family and friends.
ReplyDeleteNice photos mare.
Oh, I love those fireworks! I love watching fireworks with my family too and here in Dubai, we only get to watch them during New Year and on special occasions when the government decides to provide fireworks display.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice you are bonding very well with your neighbors. I am seeing them as regular features in your blogs and that's an awesome thing to do sis. I kind of miss my neighbors back home where you could actually hang out with them and treat them like their family members too. Here in Dubai, everything is transient. :( People come and go and most people are just too caught up with their own lives and never bother to know others.
It's nice that you have a good relationship with your neighbors because they're like extended families. They'll be there when you need them. :)
love the crescent moon and you are right, fireworks are much better when you see a clearer sky and you can actually see those magnificent designs it gives.
ReplyDeleteI love my newest neighbor on our block, we don't really have the space for fireworks or anything like that but we do have a convenient fence to lean on to swap cookies or cupcakes and chat about random stuff. It is really nice when you get a decent neighbor!
ReplyDeleteI love your photos, some really great shots!
Awesome pictures of the fireworks! I love how you captured how beautiful they are in the sky!
ReplyDeleteWow those fireworks pics are awesome!! I always have a hard time capturing them
ReplyDeleteYou got some great pictures of the fireworks! They're so beautiful! The moon is very beautiful as well and I love all the family photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the fireworks! I always fail to see many from where I am due to the trees. I can't wait to take my son to see some now that he is getting older!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy fireworks display it was fun to watch. Love your photos i haven't try night and lights photography yet, but yours came out very nice.
ReplyDeleteI love watching fireworks.... we try to attend quite a few displays every year. It looks like you had a wonderful evening with friends and family.
ReplyDeleteI love going and watching fireworks. The moon added a perfect touch after it was over I imagine. Having good friends to share good times is also a great feeling.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I was able to watch fireworks. Looks like you guys had an amazing time! :)
ReplyDeleteCan you remember how it is every New Year's eve here in the Philippines? Haha. Every household had their "Sinturon ni Hudas" and those loud, loud firecrackers. I enjoyed lighting firecrackers when I was young, but now, I have downgraded to being a spectator. Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures. Your kids are so adorable!
ReplyDeleteBased on your photos, your family had a great time and saw some beautiful sights.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Fireworks mommy Rose and nice clicks!
ReplyDeleteYour kids are such a bundle of joy. Amazing photos of fireworks display.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great day to spend time with family and friends Sis Rose :-) I so loved the focus picture of Ms. Burrito, she is one gorgeous little lady of yours :-) beautiful shots of fireworks as well :-)
ReplyDeleteFireworks! It's nice seeing them with your family while here in Davao, it's banned not because we don't like it but it's for the safety of the citizens. We always aim for zero injuries every year and we've been successful every time.. But if you want me to take somewhere just to watch the fireworks, I have no problem! Let's watch! :D
ReplyDeleteWow, these are beautiful shots of fireworks!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for this year display close to us.
