Popcorn Bowl

I love the pop corn bowl that one of the Moms brought during the end-of-the-school party.  If I will find  like this kind in store, I would definitely buy one.  The  combination of skittles and jelly beans  in the  bowl is  very eye catching.
I really like this  yard decor at one of the houses in my BIL's neighborhood in Chester.  The tires and the   bowl (not sure what is the right   name for it) are huge.

    1. THere are some blue in those jelly beans, it's just the por camera lighting that made the blue so dark.

    1. THe candies are just for decorations. The bowl is a two layerd kind where the candies are in between.

  8. I've never seen a bowl like that. I guess it has a layer within a layer? Very colourful. And the hugging tires are wonderful. A fun post to TICKLE everyone's fancy.

  13. Sorry to be so slow returning your visit. I wish the doctors would leave me alone for a while so I can get caught up on everyone.

I believe your large pot with the wheels is what we call a Molasses or Apple butter Cooker. If I am right it would have once had a large paddle that connected to the wheels and turning the wheels kept the pot stirred. A fire would have been built under the kettle. It could also have been used for rendering lard and making chitterlings on butchering day.
