For Grandparent's Day last year, Dad went with us in church. Dad believes in God but he doesn't really go to church often. I am so thankful that he went with us on that special occasion as my kids will remember this special moment.
I want to share this quote by Lee Greenwood about his grandparents.
"My grandparents knew it was important that I understood Christianity and the Bible. But they never took me to church; they sent me to church.

Since Mr. Burrito knows how to write and draw already, they made a card for their Pap and also for their Lola and Lolo.
I thank God for giving my children another set of grandparents through the Fancher's, their Lolo and Lola. With Lola and Lolo and Ate Jessie |

The whole family looks happy, and it was wonderful that Pop and the kids were able to worship together. A family really is love!

ReplyDeleteVery nice photo set. As a grandparent, I can tell you that time spent with the grand kids is the best time of all. Make them available to their grand parents often. They grow up too quickly and memories of their childhood are precious to us. Thanks for stopping by Driller's Place.

What a blessed day. And I can so relate to the church thing. But I will encourage you that God can work around things like that. And what a blessing YOU are being - leaving a wonderful and sweet spiritual legacy in your kids hearts AND your dads! :) Blessings.
